SEWCASS is the official body that represents ACA students across South, East and West Wales, and is formed by a group of student volunteers. The committee discuss matters that affect local ICAEW students and will be organising a range of social and professional events throughout the year.

James Addison will be taking on the role of secretary.

Having come to accountancy from a non-finance discipline, I’m passionate about the opportunities for work and study following the ACA can afford. One of the most rewarding aspects for me has been the chance to learn and connect with fellow students throughout South Wales.

I am thrilled to be a part of the newly elected SEWCASS committee and excited to see the society up and running again. We want to re-establish SEWCASS as a forum for ACA students. The committee are looking forward to putting on a range of events to help build strong professional networks. Hopefully, in time, SEWCASS can not only foster connections, but also provide resources and support for students' professional development, studies and well-being.

Owain Barry has been elected as the society’s treasurer.

Our aim is to ensure that SEWCASS serves as a valuable platform for all ACA students in the region, helping them to achieve their professional aspirations.

We are committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment for aspiring ICAEW members in the region, and we can't wait to see what we can achieve together.
