Strategic Workforce Management
We reviewed the Council’s arrangements for managing its workforce with a primary focus on how well the Council strategically plans the use of its workforce, how it monitors the use of its workforce assets and how it reviews and evaluates the effectiveness of its arrangements.
The Council is taking action to respond to its significant workforce issues, but needs to develop a corporate workforce plan shaped by the sustainable development principle, to address these challenges and strengthen its resilience.
