Apprenticeship Week is an annual week-long celebration of apprentices and apprenticeship programmes, taking place this year on 6-12 February.
Apprenticeship Week aims to highlight the importance of apprenticeships and developing the right skills to future proof careers and businesses, and this year’s theme is ‘Skills for Life’.
At Audit Wales, we’re passionate about providing apprenticeships and the new insights and perspectives they bring. Our aim is to assure the people of Wales that public money is being managed well, and our apprentices are an integral part of this process:
The Financial Audit Apprenticeship scheme gives great insights into the impact of our work across Wales.
We’re proud of all of our apprentices; many of whom have won awards and taken part in competitions and we want to take this opportunity to thank them for all their dedication and hard work.
Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing stories from past and current apprentices, as well as speaking to our Executive Director and the Auditor General for Wales about the benefits and value apprentices bring.
We have blogs and podcast episodes about our apprenticeships so keep an eye out on our social media channels for more information.
