Playing our part in the response to climate change

We’re accelerating our work
With world leaders gathering in Glasgow for COP26 this week, we’re accelerating our work, with the aim of scrutinising and inspiring improvement in climate change action across public services in Wales.
Today, we have launched a call for evidence at around 50 public bodies across Wales to ask what they are doing to reduce carbon emissions and meet Welsh Government’s 2030 carbon neutral public sector target.
Public bodies have a key role to play… As well as reducing their own emissions, they can lead by example in the communities they serve.
