Are you interested in earning while learning? Looking for an alternative to university to kick start your career?
Then the All Wales Public Sector Finance Apprenticeship Programme might be for you!
Aimed at those without degrees, the All Wales Public Sector Finance Apprenticeship Programme is run in collaboration with other public sector bodies across Wales and is designed to develop the next generation of finance leaders.
Our foundation level programme supports you in developing the skills needed to overcome future challenges in your career.
Over a three-year fixed-term apprenticeship programme, you will work with our teams across Wales to deliver a variety of audit services and help scrutinise and improve public services.
You’ll achieve a renowned Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) finance qualification while working for the public sector watchdog for Wales.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll develop personal, professional, financial and auditing skills and also learn how to establish and maintain good working relationships, both internally and externally.
Audit Wales apprentices also learn and develop on the job skills whilst supporting audits and gaining confidence in how to undertake external audits.
Apprentices also have the opportunity to benefit from secondment within another public sector body.
As an apprentice at Audit Wales, you’d be part of a dynamic team who are helping make a difference to public services and communities in Wales.
By joining Audit Wales, you’re joining a flexible organisation with GREAT behaviours and a passion for creating an inclusive culture with a positive work/life balance. We also offer a generous rewards and benefits package.
At Audit Wales, we care about the learning and development of our apprentices, both personally and professionally, which is why we have a buddy system to help new apprentices ease into their new role and provide ongoing informal support.
You can find out more about the Apprenticeship Programme and how to apply on our Apprenticeship webpage [opens in new window].
Applications close on 4 April 2022.
